Sneak-peak of our apartment

The inside of our house still isn't as we'd like it; funds prevent us from spending any more on it for the time being. After we're no longer ashamed we'll post some pics. For now, here is a teaser - the mysterious and fascinating outside.

The imposing facade

The mysterious alleyway

The ancient, rimed picnic table

The terrifying front door

We live in the basement - you can see our bedroom window behind the stairs in the first picture. We walk through the alley to the back garden, and then down some steps to our front door. The ground floor is occupied by two women about our age, who are very nice and who we've had a beer or two with (and who have kindly let us put a wireless hub in their house so that we can all share Internet connectivity). The upper two floors are the residence of four students who never seem to be home.

Unemployed life is relatively boring and depressing. Normally I'd use this time to get back into swimming every day, join the local Ultimate society, check out the local museums etcetera. However, I've done something hurty to my knee, and I can't walk more than fifty metres or so without hobbling like a gimp. So I'm pretty much stuck in the house feeling sorry for myself. I've got a physio appointment on Monday... hopefully they can sort me out.

Well, farwell until the next time, when I will relate the tale of Lord Onikage and the furniture ninja.

We eventually gave up and just posted pictures of our place! It actually looks much nicer now that we have a cover for the couch and a rug and stuff. We did get quite a bit of stuff from Ikea. Hate the store, but their lamps and stuff are pretty good.

I look forward to hear about the Ninjas. I have been enjoying both the order of the stick and Dr McNinja.

I am the Anonymous Commenter. BEWARE!!! (MUHAHAHAHA). Your quaint little subterranean apartment sounds..... bizarre. The idea of a trapezoid living area is of much interest to the Anonymous Commenter, as the Anonymous Commenter does also not live in such a room.

The Anonymous Commenter is displeased that with so much time one Josh Morton has after that re-occuring shrapnel injury he got from ‘nam has come back to give him the hurry-curry, that he can not email those people in faraway countries.

The Anonymous Commenter looks forward to more blogs, bogs and togs from the Weegie and an Aussie in Canada.

P.S. The Anonymous Commenter would very much like more breast pics…….. of JOSH!!
