Snowday III

Once a year our friends Erik and Joanne invite a bunch of people around for a snowday... they live about 45min outside Ottawa on a big property, so we go skating in their back yard, play on the toboggan hill, and perform general acts of tomfoolery.

From left to right... Farley the dog, Joanne, Monica, Erik, Heather, Ryan, Leah, Kristin, Matt, Taskin, Seanna, me.

It's always great fun, and Erik and Joanne are fantastic people. They have three young children - Ryan, Monica and Heather, who are unbelievably cute. We have basically seen them once a year, and watching Heather in particular going from one to three has been pretty amazing.

Heather, Monica and Ryan.

Awwwww yeah

Guess which county this man is from.

This year being our last, Erik decided to hold the inaugural Dunrobin International Ice Hockey Federation match, with team Alice Springs Eternal facing off versus Crazy Carpets. The game was called at two periods after unstoppable brawling erupted, and Crazy Carpets took the match 10 - 6.

"Wobbles" Morton faces off versus Elli "The Octopus" MacDonald. "Slew-foot" Retallack and "T-boni" Shirazi look on.
