A Post for March

Hello all.

The snow is slowly starting to melt, but man - there was a lot of it. We're only a few centimeters off the most snow on record for Ottawa - 444cm in 1971.

We had a snow day a couple of weekends ago after a massive snow fall - it was a lot of fun.

Elli sits at our picnic table.

The canal.

Other than that, there's not much to report. We've got our work visas, so we'll be staying another while.

Elli's been working very hard - all weekend, at the office until seven every night, that kind of thing. Not good at the work/life balance, that one. Poor thing. Her colleague Julie just left for Brussels for six months, and we had her staying with us for a week before she left, which was fun.

We had Easter dinner with Jennie and Peter which was great - delicious roast lamb, been a while. They seem well, Peter is back at work part time and seems to be fairly happy about it.

So... thats about it. Working, feeling fairly oppressed by the weather, waiting for Spring!

Love reading your posts, but your titles are becoming a little unimaginative ;)

So does that mean the Southern part of America will have to wait?

It's just getting cool here, but I have been hearing from everyone in Canada that spring is late this year!

hugs to both of you!
