Frontenac Park

We spent the Labour Day long weekend backcounty-camping in Frontenac Park.

We hiked all day, stopping for frequent swims in the gorgeous lakes, before setting up camp and cooking over an open fire.


The weather was gorgeous the entire weekend, and we saw lots of wildlife;

Froggies...

Wooly caterpillars...

... and also several types of snakes, a heron, fishies, several Turkey Vultures, and of course the ubiquitous chipmunk.

All in all, we had a great time - and as always, we asked ourselves: "Why don't we do this every weekend?".
