Summer! ... sort of...

We had a brief spell of sunny weather, but it's been raining for aboot the last two weeks straight. The garden is loving it, but we still feel all wan and pasty from winter... give us some damn sun!

OK, so my blog is mostly about the weather in Ottawa, which is pretty lame.

A couple of weekends ago I played in an Ultimate tournament for the Childrens Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), and it was fun. That weekend it decided to be 35 and 100% humidity, so it was also very exhausting. Gah, more weather! Elli spent the weekend at a workshop on Water-managment Leadership which was held in the wilderness outside of Guelph, which she also described as fun but exhausting.

My lame vertical.

Jasons' awesome vertical. Bo looks on, tense, with Erin and Lorenz in the background.

The whole team - Ragin Gaijin.

Besides that, life continues much the same as last summer... playing lots of Ultimate (three or even four times a week!), working, and recovering from playing too much Ultimate and working.

In a couple of weekends we'll be going up to Seanna's cottage for Canada Day, which will be awesome. The weekend after that, Elli's parents are arriving for a couple of weeks (after travelling all around the world for the last six months!). Busy times are ahead!

This post bought to you by theWeatherNetwork.ca. In Ottawa it is currently 18 degrees and raining.
