Glasgow, Cheltenham, Ottawa!

After another day in Glasgow, which included an awesome Indian meal - which Glasgow is famous for - I headed back down to London with Angus and Jane, intending to spend the day with Trin in Cheltenham, while Elli stayed in Glasgow to catch up with some friends. I actually passed through Oxford the day after Scott and Lili left - crap!

Elli with two of her best friends, Anna and Helen, at some kind of wedding expo. Darn, I'm so bummed I missed that wedding expo. Darn.

In Cheltenham I met Trin's wife, Bec, and their 10 month-old Jacob. He was the cutest thing ever, very relaxed, and happy to wander about pulling down gardening implements on himself. We had a meal in, and the next day drove to a little village with an old church and had a wander round, before I had to head back to London. It was great to catch up; too short as always.

I had fun getting from Victoria Station back to the flat, lacking a phone, any relevant phone numbers, a map, the address of the flat, or the access code to the door. Yay for planning! Eventually I managed to find my way though, and we had a last meal with Jane before heading to Heathrow the next morning. A pretty whirlwind trip, all in all, but a lot of fun nonetheless.

Sounds like a good trip. I'm sure there will be other wedding expos.
